Welcome
We support game changing, women-led impact ventures that are improving the lives of people living in poverty across the Pacific Islands region. Our program provides the region’s most promising women entrepreneurs with access to the skills, knowledge, connections, funding and community they need to build sustainable and scalable ventures.
It has been designed and is delivered by women entrepreneurs, for women entrepreneurs. yher leverages ygap's proven model which has been developed by running over 47 programs and supporting more than 541 impact ventures around the world. It has now been contextualised to meet the specific needs of our Pacific Islands women trailblazers.
The yher program is also being delivered in Africa – a place where more women are pursuing entrepreneurship per capita than anywhere else in the world.
When I was invited to be part of the yher cohort 2019, I knew very little of what was in store for me but also how it would help our venture. That week took us to a whole new level of understanding about who we were but also what we could potentially become. I was encouraged. And since then yher has continued to support us with mentorship, small grants and connections. We were able to test our systems and processes and are where are now because of this support. Thank you yher for believing in our dream. It is fast becoming a reality.

I feel the best thing about yher was that it not only built my confidence but also helped me grow thicker skin. There has been a lot of setbacks after the program but that has not dampened my spirit or put me down but I now see that whenever I face a setback I feel more driven. You're A Woman Entrepreneur
We believe the solutions to today's toughest challenges are entrepreneurial, and the women are the most powerful levers for change in our world. You must have at least one woman co-founder who will participate in the program.
You Aim To Create A Positive Impact
Your venture addresses one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals. If it exists to improve the lives of women and girls, then that’s even better!
You Have A Small Business In Fiji:
You will have already fully developed, tested or launched your venture prior to Covid-19. For 2021, we are only accepting Fiji-based ventures.
You Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Issue
You and your team should know the ecosystem deeply, whether through lived experience or from working in the sector, and be committed to addressing the issue in the long term.
You Want To Connect & Grow, Adapt & Recover
You’re eager to learn from, share and connect with like-minded women entrepreneurs from across Fiji, the region and beyond.

Our Organisation
yher is a program by ygap, an international development organisation advancing global equity through locally-led, inclusive entrepreneurship, reducing structural barriers to access and inclusion within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
