Have You Already Applied?
Thank you for your submission! Please be assured that the program will go ahead, with our schedule adjusted to accommodate travel restrictions and ensure participants feel safe, comfortable and empowered to attend. At this stage, we hope to run our next program in early 2021 - as things evolve and skies clear, we'll keep you looped with the latest dates and information.
We support game changing, women-led impact ventures that are improving the lives of people living in poverty across the Pacific Islands region. Our program provides the region’s most promising women entrepreneurs with access to the skills, knowledge, connections, funding and community they need to build sustainable and scalable ventures.
It has been designed and is delivered by women entrepreneurs, for women entrepreneurs. yher leverages ygap's proven model which has been developed by running over 45 programs and supporting more than 515 impact ventures globally. It has now been contextualised to meet the specific needs of our Pacific Islands women trailblazers.
The yher program is also being delivered in Africa – a place where more women are pursuing entrepreneurship per capita than anywhere else in the world.
Start your yher journey by taking part in a 6 day intensive in person entrepreneurship program in Fiji. There, you will get access to our proven curriculum, developed over the course of running 46 programs globally, and delivered by our world class local and global facilitation team. We take a holistic approach to our program, accelerating not just the venture but YOU as an entrepreneur, ensuring you have the tools, techniques, courage and tribe of women supporting you to handle the roller coaster journey that is life as a social entrepreneur.
You will become part of a community of inspiring, supportive and like-minded women entrepreneurs all working towards solving social and environmental challenges across the region.
After having spent a week deep diving your business under the palms of Fiji, you get access to six month of remote coaching, resources, small grants, connections and more.
At the end of the support phase, we will work with the entrepreneurs who have made the most progress and have been the most engaged and proactive to obtain further funding and support.
When I was invited to be part of the yher cohort 2019, I knew very little of what was in store for me but also how it would help our venture. That week took us to a whole new level of understanding about who we were but also what we could potentially become. I was encouraged. And since then yher has continued to support us with mentorship, small grants and connections. We were able to test our systems and processes and are where are now because of this support. Thank you yher for believing in our dream. It is fast becoming a reality.

I feel the best thing about yher was that it not only built my confidence but also helped me grow thicker skin. There has been a lot of setbacks after the program but that has not dampened my spirit or put me down but I now see that whenever I face a setback I feel more driven. And this is solely because of yher. It was the FIRST ever program of its kind I attended and the amount of support, interest and help shown by the facilitators really opened my eyes to how far or how much of an impact I can make.

Who We Look For
You're A Woman Entrepreneur
We believe the solutions to today's toughest challenges are entrepreneurial, and the women are the most powerful levers for change in our world. You must have at least one female co-founder who will participate in the program.
Your Contributing Towards The Sustainable Development Goals
Your venture must exist to improve the lives of people living in poverty and align with one or more of the Global Sustainable Development Goals. If it exists to improve the lives of women and girls, then that's even better.
You're In Your Early Stages
You will have already fully developed, tested or launched your venture and demonstrate early traction or proof of concept. Your intervention should be innovative and unique, and will typically have been in operation less than two years.
You Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Issue
You and your team should know the ecosystem deeply, whether through lived experience or from working in the sector, and be committed to addressing the issue in the long term.
You Want To Connect & Grow
You're eager to learn from, share and connect with like-minded women entrepreneurs from the across the Pacific Island region and beyond.
Before yher I really had no idea about pitching. Because of yher I won two pitching events and I know for sure it’s because yher prepared me for them.

I really enjoyed the facilitators - how they delivered the week in such a simple way yet using very complex tools, tools that we would probably never ever get the chance to access as entrepreneurs in the Pacific.
